Applications Tab
The Applications tab of the Create New Role dialog box provides the area to add applications to the role. This tab also provides a list of the applications currently assigned to the role.

The Applications tab of the Create New Role dialog box includes the following properties:

| Search Catalog Items | Used to define application title search criteria to locate applications to include in the role. |
| Available Catalog Items | Lists result from the search criteria defined in the Search Catalog Items field. Applications can be selected from this section and be added to be included in the role. If a catalog item has been designated as a core application, as described in Prevent a Catalog Item from Being Included in OS Deployment By Designating it as Core Application, that catalog item will not be returned in search results when performing a search on the Applications tab. |
